7-2-5: GENERAL PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   Prohibited Parking Unless Posted: Parking on town streets, roadways, alleys, or thoroughfares is prohibited except where clearly marked otherwise. (2004 Code)
   B.   Fire Lanes: No person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle within or upon a designated fire lane, whether on public or private property; provided, however, that appropriate signs or other markings, as shall be approved or designated by the fire chief, shall be posted, erected, marked and maintained in order for this subsection to be effective.
   C.   Parking Areas Reserved For Persons With Disabilities: No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in a parking space set aside and identified for use only by persons with physical disabilities, unless the vehicle is transporting a person who has been issued a valid placard or international symbol of access special plates. The public works director shall designate and mark vehicle parking places for the exclusive use of persons with physical disabilities, and such spaces shall be posted, erected, marked and maintained in order for this subsection to be effective.
   D.   Alleys: No person shall stand or park a vehicle in an alley at any time except for the loading of materials, and not then unless such loading or unloading can be accomplished without blocking the alley to the free movement of traffic or interfering with or obstructing the operation of a fire escape, and not take over forty (40) minutes' total time.
   E.   Adjacent To Schools: When signs are erected indicating no parking on that side of the street adjacent to any school property, no person shall park a vehicle in any such designated place for one hour before school opens until one hour after school closes on any school day.
   F.   Repair Of Vehicles: No person shall use any street or part of street, or any publicly owned property, for the purpose of repairing or reconditioning any vehicle, truck, trailer or any common carrier or any part thereof except when such repairs shall be necessitated by an emergency.    G.   Time Limit Parking: Parking for longer than thirty six (36) hours in any forty eight (48) hour period in any designated parking area is prohibited.
   H.   Vehicles Not Licensed For Highway Use: Parking vehicles not licensed for highway use anywhere on town property without the express consent of the town is prohibited. "Vehicles licensed for highway use" shall not include trailers, mobile homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, park model homes or any other residential structures capable of being pulled by a motor vehicle.
   I.   Penalties: A person found responsible for a violation of subsection A or G of this section during one calendar day shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00). A person found responsible for a violation of subsection A or G of this section during two (2) consecutive calendar days shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00). A person found responsible for a violation of subsection A or G of this section during three (3) consecutive calendar days shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100.00). The fine shall increase an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day for each calendar day thereafter. (2004 Code)
