1 This compilation includes chapters 18--29 of Title 6, Tennessee Code Annotated, which contain the basic organizational provisions for this form of government, as amended. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are many other general laws affecting municipalities organized under this charter which have been omitted from this compilation because they apply to all municipalities. These are found in various parts of the Tennessee Code Annotated. This compilation has been amended to reflect legislation passed in the 2017 session of the Tennessee General Assembly.
