(A) The Chief of Police is responsible for establishing a regular patrol of the nonmetered regulated parking zone for the purpose of public compliance with the rules established by this article.
(B) The Chief of Police is the responsible city official for prosecuting the local district court persons suspected of having violated this article.
(C) Any person in violation of this section may settle and compromise the claim against him for such illegal parking by paying to the city, for each violation, the amount specified for such illegal parking as set out in § 40.700.
