(A) The Chief of Police, or a designee, may deny the permit if it finds the applicant cannot safely operate the golf cart on city streets, or if the applicant has had earlier golf cart permits denied, suspended or revoked. The Chief of Police may suspend or revoke a permit granted hereunder upon a finding that the holder of the permit has violated any of the provisions of this chapter, or if there evidence that the holder of the permit cannot safely operate the golf cart on city streets.
(B) Decisions of the Chief of Police, or the designee, shall only be reversed or modified by a majority vote of the City Council.
