§ 120.20  UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to be involved in gambling which includes, but is not limited to, keeping, operating for hire, or using in such manner as to involve any chance in the determination of the number or value of any article or articles purchased or played for, any cigar wheel, slot machine, dice or any piece of mechanism, the operation of which involves or creates any chance, other than as provided in this chapter.
   (B)   The prohibitions provided for in this section and this chapter or any other sections of the code of ordinances of Paris, Illinois, shall not apply to any gambling device, device or gaming event for which a  license or permit has been issued by the Illinois Gaming Board, pursuant to the Illinois Video Gaming Act (ILCS Chapter 230, Act 40, § 1 et seq.) so long as such gambling device, device, game or gaming event is conducted in compliance with all requirements of said Act and all the rules and regulations of the Illinois Gaming Board.
