§ 54.34  DEFINITIONS.
   For purposes of this subchapter, certain terms and words used herein shall be interpreted and defined as follows:
   GARBAGE. Refuse resulting from the handling, processing, preparation, cooking and consumption of food or food products.
   REFUSE. Any discarded matter, including but not limited to garbage, sweepings, landscape waste, paper, cardboard, tin cans, ashes, bottles, and similar other accumulations, but excluding special wastes as defined by Illinois Environmental Agency or other such agency.
   REFUSE COLLECTOR BUSINESS. A business that  includes  collection  and  disposal of garbage, ashes, manure, trash and miscellaneous waste and other refuse, as well as the renting, placing and removal of roll-off dumpsters.
   REFUSE COLLECTOR LICENSE. The license given to a person in the refuse collector business.
   ROLL-OFF DUMPSTER. A dumpster that is a rented bulk solid waste receptacle, placed temporarily in a driveway or other location, used to handle solid waste disposal related to temporary activities such as moving, remodeling or other construction at a site which is typically delivered and removed by truck. The rented container is hauled away when it is full and is emptied by mechanical means.
