For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MAJOR STREET. A delineated street shown on the major street plan, a part of the official plan.
PLANS. All drawings, including general plans, cross-sections, profiles, working details, and specifications which the subdivider prepares or has prepared to show the character, extent, and details of the improvements required in § 159.039 of this code.
PLAT. A map or drawing showing the lot and street arrangement or other features or details of the area being subdivided as required in this chapter for preliminary and final approval and recording.
