§ 155.15 MEMBERS; TERMS.
   (A)   Establishment; members. The City Historic Preservation Commission is hereby established. It shall consist of 5 voting members, residents of the city, appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
   (B)   Qualifications. The members shall be appointed on the basis of expertise, experience, or interest in the area of architectural history, building construction or engineering, finance, historical and architectural preservation, neighborhood organizing, or real estate.
   (C)   Terms. Members of the Commission shall be appointed for terms of 3 years. Of those members first taking office, 2 shall be appointed for 3 years, 2 for 2 years, and 1 for 1 year. Alternate members may be appointed to serve in the absence of or disqualification of regular members. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term only. Members shall serve without compensation.
