§ 152.35  STOP ORDER.
   The Electrical Inspector shall have the power to verbally or in writing order all work stopped on construction, alteration, or repair of buildings in the city when that work is being done in violation of any provision of any ordinance or code provision relating thereto.  Work shall not be resumed after the issuance of a stop order except on the written permission of the Inspector; however, if the stop order is an oral one, it shall be followed by a written stop order within 24 hours.  A written stop order may be served by any police officer.  A stop order may be revoked by the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety.
