§ 152.03  AUTHORITY TO OPERATE FOR HIRE A PUBLIC ELECTRIC UTILITY.
   Pursuant to the ILCS Chapter 65, Act 5, § 11-117-4, the City is authorized to operate for hire a public electric utility for the use and benefit of private consumers and users, and charge for such consumption and use.
