§ 119.083  COIN-OPERATED VIDEO GAME; LICENSE FEES, TERMS.
   (A)   Each coin-operated video game machine, operated or set up for operation within the corporate limits of the city, shall be licensed at the rate of $50 per year per machine.  These fees shall be paid by the owners or lessors of the coin-operated video game machines. 
   (B)   Any and all fees required under this section shall be paid in advance, and no license therefor shall be issued for less than 1 year.  All existing licenses shall be renewed as of January 1 of each calendar year for a period of 1 year; any license which was issued for the first time during the previous calendar year shall receive a credit on the annual fee equal to the prorated amount of the previous fee which has not been used.  In no case shall any portion of a license fee be repaid to the licensee. 
   (C)   Upon acquisition or lease of any device of this type, the owner or lessor shall notify the city for licensing of the machine for operation within 30 days of that acquisition or lease. 
   (D)   Any violation of this section shall constitute a Class C misdemeanor.
