(A) The time of the hearing before the City Council shall be no more than 20 days after his or her receipt of the letter of appeal. The City Administrator shall give the appealing party and any other persons requesting the same at least 5-days’ notice of the time and place of the hearing.
(B) The notice shall be substantially in the following form, but may include other information:
“You are hereby notified that a hearing will be held at the City Council meeting room at the City Hall, on _____ at the hour of _________, at which time you may show cause why the appeal you have filed should be sustained. The appeal is from the decision of the communications director, dated ______, deciding ______.”
