No person shall engage in, conduct, or carry on an alarm business within the city without complying with all applicable state laws. Each alarm business owner and operator is required to provide the communications director with the name, address, and phone number of each new subscriber within the city prior to the activation of the new alarm system, or upon notification that an existing alarm system has been sold or transferred to another subscriber.
