§ 32.040 APPOINTMENT, SUPERVISION.
   The City Clerk shall be appointed by the City Council as provided by statute and shall be under the direct supervision of the Commissioner of Accounts and Finance and shall be responsible to the City Council.

§ 32.041 PERFORMANCE BOND.
   Before entering upon the duties of office, the City Clerk shall execute a bond in such an amount and with those sureties as may be required by the City Council, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his or her duties.

§ 32.042 DEPUTY CLERK; COMPENSATION.
   The City Clerk may appoint and supervise a Deputy and any other assistants necessary to administer the duties of the City Clerk’s office, who shall receive compensation as may be provided by the City Council.

§ 32.043 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES.
   The City Clerk shall furnish the Mayor and each member of the City Council a complete copy of the minutes of each regular and special meeting of the City Council within 10 days following each meeting.

§ 32.044 SEAL; CUSTODY AND USE.
   The City Clerk shall be the custodian of the city seal and shall affix its impression on documents whenever this is required.
