(A) It shall be a violation of this section for a person to issue or deliver a check, draft or an order on a credit institution for the payment of or to acquire money or other property of the town knowing that it will not be paid or honored by the credit institution upon presentment in the usual course of business.
(B) Whoever violates this section shall pay a bad check fee to the town of $20 per check. Further, whoever violates this section shall be prohibited from presenting any further checks to the town and the town may refuse to accept a check from the violator thereafter.
