1499.03 NOMINATIONS.
   (a)   Only the owners of a property may request historic marker designation.
   (b)   The owner's request for historic marker designation must be accompanied by information and documentation relative to the criteria set forth in Section 1499.02.
   (c)   The Village shall supply forms to the owner to fill out when making a request for historic marker designation.
   (d)   Upon making a request for historic marker designation, the owner must agree, that if historic marker designation is awarded, the owner will post the historic marker in a location visible to the public, and thereafter make reasonable effort to maintain said historic marker.
   (e)   The Village will schedule all historic marker designation requests for review by the Historic Preservation Commission.
   (f)   The Village may supplement the owners' information or documentation, or assist the owner in providing additional information or documentation.
