All employees of the Village (except Police Department personnel) shall be required to work hours in accordance with the standards established in this section and shall conform to all applicable State and Federal standards and laws.
The work standards applicable to all civilian employees shall be based on a seven-day period, beginning on Saturday and ending on the following Friday of each week. Within this seven-day period, all full-time civilian employees shall be required to work thirty-five hours. Any hour worked in excess of the thirty-fifth hour through the fortieth hour in any seven-day period shall be compensated at the employee's regular hourly rate. Any hour worked in excess of the fortieth hour in any seven-day period shall be compensated in accordance with the overtime rate provided in Section 256.13.
