(A) Each applicant for a building permit for the construction of a home in a residential area shall pay impact fees as stated in the ordinance or a new subdivision lot or a re-subdivision lot, either single-family or multiple shall prior to the issuance of such building permit pay the following amounts to the city for the following indicated entities within the corporate limits of the city.
(B) The impact fees would benefit the following entities for the present and future.
(1) City recreation $ 250
(2) Library 250
(3) Elementary school district within which property is located 1,000
(4) High school district within which property is located 200
(5) City for infrastructure 1,500
The impact fees for herein shall be in addition to the water and sewer tap-in fees provided for by § 50.06.
(C) In addition to the impact fees provided for in divisions (B)(1), (2), and (5), each applicant for a building permit for the construction of a commercial or office building, shall pay to the city prior to the issuance of such building permit $1 per square foot of gross building space.
The impact fees for herein shall be in addition to the water and sewer tap-in fees provided for by § 50.06.
(D) If a new development has within it both residential and non-residential units, the amount to be paid shall be computed in accordance with division (B) for the residential units and in accordance with division (C) for the non-residential units.
(E) All contributions required by this section shall be paid to the city prior to the issuance of any building permit.
(F) The city shall distribute funds received on behalf of recreation, the library and school districts on a quarterly basis.
