For purposes of this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively.
(A) AUTOMATIC DRY-CLEANING MACHINE. A mechanical device, apparatus, or appliance which may be loaded, activated, and unloaded by the customer for the purpose of cleaning wearing apparel, cloth, fabrics, textiles, and related materials by immersion and agitation, or immersion only, in a nonaqueous solvent. This shall also include devices of the above description which are operated by an attendant.
(B) AUTOMATIC DRY-CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT. Any premises for the public use of one or more automatic dry-cleaning machines.
(C) CUSTOMER AREA. The area of an establishment which is available to customers in order that they may make use of automatic dry-cleaning machines.
(D) MAINTENANCE AREA. Those portions of an automatic dry-cleaning establishment in which all working or mechanical portions of the dry-cleaning appliances or appurtenances, except the customer's side of the appliances, are accessible.
