§ 95.54 LICENSE FEES.
   (A)   The annual license fees for vehicle licenses for each vehicle shall be as follows:
      (1)   For motor-driven vehicles used exclusively for the carrying of five passengers or less for hire, including taxicabs:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $50;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $100.
      (2)   For motor-driven vehicles used exclusively for the carrying of six passengers or more for hire:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $75;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $150.
      (3)   For motor-driven vehicles not for hire:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $25;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $ 50.
            1.   Senior citizens: For motor-driven vehicles not for hire owned by senior citizens who have attained the age of 65 years prior to the year for which the license is valid and who are the principal drivers of vehicles used for pleasure only, limited to two per family, per year:
               a.   If paid on or before July 15: $ 20;
               b.    If paid after July 15: $40.
            2.   Disabled persons: For motor-driven vehicles not for hire owned by disabled persons who are the principal drivers of vehicles used for pleasure only:
               a.   If paid on or before July 15: $0;
               b.   If paid after July 15: $0.
               c.   For the purpose of this section a disabled person is one to whom the state has issued a disabled or handicapped vehicle license.
               d.   The necessary identification to qualify as a senior citizen or disabled veteran is a current vehicle identification card and a current driver's license issued by the state.
            3.   Active duty military personnel: For motor driven vehicles not for hire, owned by active duty military personnel and who are the principal driver, no annual license fee is required so long as the owner remains on active duty with any branch of the military service. Any applicant for a vehicle license, while on active military duty, shall produce written evidence indicating active duty military service at the time of application.
      (4)   For motor-driven motorcycles 150 cubic centimeters and over:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $20;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $ 40.36B
      (5)    For motor-driven motor scooters under 150 cubic centimeters:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $15;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $ 30.
      (6)   Class B motor trucks up to 8,000 pounds and more than 3,000 pounds; weight includes gross weight of the vehicle and the maximum load:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $45;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $90.
      (7)   All other motor vehicles more than 8,000 pounds; weight includes gross weight of the vehicle and the maximum load:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $60;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $120.
      (8)   Motor vehicles licensed by the state as recreational vehicles:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $40;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $80.
      (9)   For all trailers attached to motor vehicles:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $15;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $30.
      (10)   For all antique vehicles, which is defined as a motor vehicle that is more than 25 years of age or a bona fide replica thereof and which is driven on the highways only going to and returning from an antique auto show or an exhibition, or for servicing or demonstration, or a fire-fighting vehicle more than 20 years old which is not used as fire-fighting equipment but is used only for the purpose of exhibition or demonstration:
         (a)   If paid on or before July 15: $5;
         (b)   If paid after July 15: $10.
   (B)   Any vehicle license issued after December 1 for a vehicle purchased after December 1 of the year for which the license is issued shall be issued for one-half of the full charge.
   (C)   All vehicle licenses shall expire on June 30 following the date of issuance.
   (D)   A duplicate vehicle license will be issued for a fee of $5.
