§ 93.26 REMOVAL OF OBSTRUCTIONS.
   Whenever there is an obstruction in any street, sidewalk, or other public place resulting from the erection or maintenance of any sign, marquee, or fixed awning in violation of the provisions of this chapter, the building commissioner shall cause the same to be removed. If the obstruction is such that it cannot be removed by him, he shall forthwith notify the mayor and the city council for appropriate action.
