(A) This section is adopted pursuant to the Constitution and statutes of the state, including particularly Tex. Transportation Code § 541.201.
(B) The purpose of this section is to provide for the orderly and safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic within the city by providing for the location of stop and yield signs at appropriate street junctures.
(C) The Police Chief of city may erect traffic-control devices in the future to provide for the orderly and safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic as he or she deems necessary.
