(A) The city hereby finds that all of the public highways which are maintained within its municipal boundary are insufficient to carry maximum gross vehicle axle load which were authorized in Tex. Transportation Code § 622.012.
(B) Therefore, the city prescribes that no vehicles transporting ready-mixed concrete over public highways within the city shall carry more than weight limitations as follows:
(1) Vehicle with a tandem axle load not to exceed 36,000 pounds;
(2) Single axle loads not to exceed 12,000 pounds; and
(3) Gross loads not to exceed 48,000 pounds.
