§ 90.03 FARM ANIMALS AND FOWL.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, harbor, breed or maintain upon any premises not zoned for agricultural use any of the following: bees, roosters or chickens, peafowl, turkeys, horses, pigeons, ponies, cattle, goats, pigs or other fowl or livestock, hereinafter referred to as farm animals.
   (B)   Amortization period. The Town Council recognizes that there are currently violations of the towns Land Usage Code in that certain farm animals are located upon property in zoning districts which do not permit farms, farming, and farm activities. To avoid any immediate undue expense for the removal of such farm animals the town shall permit the owners of such property or their tenants, to remove such farm animals by June 1, 2016, hereafter the “amortization period”. No additional farm animals shall be allowed during the amortization period; and no new farm animals be substituted for any farm animal which shall be removed from such property during the amortization period for whatever reason.
   (C)   Enforcement. Any person who violates the provisions of this section may be brought before the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate; subject to an injunction brought in the Circuit Court and any other remedy available to the town to enforce it’s Code of Ordinances.
