§ 91.017 DISCHARGE OF CERTAIN WATER INTO PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEM AND STREETS PROHIBITED; ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any hazardous, poisonous or explosive chemical or contaminated industrial process water into the sanitary or storm sewers at any time. Also, subsurface water generated during construction, especially during the excavation for swimming pools, must first be pumped into a settling tank to allow sand and debris to be separated by gravity before allowing the water to be discharged into the storm sewer system. Subsequently, the sand and debris will be disposed of along with the excavated material.
   (B)   Water discharged from any air conditioning is considered industrial process water and is prohibited from being discharged into the sanitary sewer system or any body of water.
   (C)   The Mayor shall have the power to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
