(A) Materials and construction procedures shall meet minimum standards as specified by the latest edition of the State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges unless specifically waived by the Town Engineer.
(B) Curbs and curb and gutter sections shall also meet minimum standards specified by the FHA and VA.
(C) All drainage structures shall be properly sized and designed to meet FHA requirements. Head walls will be required at each end of culverts.
(D) Catch basins, spillways, valley gutters and the like, shall be designed in accordance with good engineering design practice.
(E) Drainage swales where acceptable to the Town Council and/or Town Engineer shall be properly designed to carry storm runoff and for easy maintenance.
