(A) Upon request of a customer, the City shall reread the customer's meter to determine if the initial reading was accurate. The customer is entitled to one reread or date log at no charge per calendar year. The customer shall pay a high bill investigation fee for each subsequent reread or data log per calendar year. If the customer-requested reread of the meter results in a corrected bill, the fee shall be credited to the account. Upon request of a customer to have a special meter reading performed which is not a part of the monthly readings during the normal billing cycle, the customer shall pay a high bill investigation fee for the special reading.
