(A) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons whether the driver, a passenger or passengers, to possess, drink or consume or to allow others to possess, drink or consume any alcoholic beverage, or any mixture containing any alcoholic beverage, in any motor vehicle while the motor vehicle is upon a street or highway within the city limits.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons in any motor vehicle to possess, to have readily accessible or to transport, or to allow others to possess, to have readily accessible or to transport any open container containing any alcoholic beverage, or any mixture containing any alcoholic beverage, while the motor vehicle is upon a street or highway within the city limits.
