§ 54.02 WATER RATES.

   (A)   Effective May 1, 2017, the rates for water service for customers of the Paintsville Utilities shall be as follows:

[The above-stated water rates reflecting a 10% increase in the rate structure in effect since January 1, 2009]

 

   (B)   There shall be, in accordance with the requirements and directives of Rural Development, an increase in water rates as follows, which shall occur the earlier of May 1, 2018 or the date of the loan closing on Downtown I & I Project to be funded by Rural Development:

   (C)   In addition to the adjustment set out in division (A) and division (B), there shall be a yearly adjustment of water rates effective March 1, 2019 and each March 1 thereafter based upon the Consumer Price Index as published by the Wall Street Journal. The water rates shall be adjusted according to that Consumer Price Index and shall be placed on the April billing and each month thereafter.
