§ 50.26  CONTRACTS FOR COLLECTION; FRANCHISE FEES.
   (A)   No commercial customer shall remove its own garbage, nor hire or contract with any firm or entity to remove any garbage from the city without obtaining permission from the city sanitation supervisor.  Permission will be granted by the supervisor provided that it is in the best interest of the city.
   (B)   Any commercial customer who hauls its own garbage or the entity which contracts with a commercial customer to haul garbage from the city shall pay a franchise fee to the city for the privilege of hauling the garbage.  The fee shall be paid by the commercial customer, if the customer is doing its own hauling, or by the contracting entity, if the entity is doing the hauling.
   (C)   The franchise fee will be as follows:
      (1)   Temporary service, $3 per cubic yard.
      (2)   Weekday service for one day per week, 4% of the commercial customer’s regular bill.
      (3)   Weekend service of two days per weekend, 6% of the commercial customer’s regular bill.
      (4)   Total pickup, as monthly fee of:
         (a)   $187.50 for customers in classifications B through F;
         (b)   $375 for customers in classifications G through K;
         (c)   $750 for customers in classifications L through Q.
