Persons 12 years of age and under shall drive or ride any bicycle upon or along any sidewalk or foot walk as long as they are wearing a protective bicycle helmet of good fit fastened securely upon the head with the strap of the helmet; be under adult supervision and must be careful not to interfere with pedestrians walking upon the sidewalk. A parent or legal guardian shall instill in the person riding the bicycle this law regarding giving pedestrians the right of way and any parent or legal guardian violating any requirement set forth in this Section 373.10
shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) per occurrence.
