The following are banned from the streets, sidewalks and all other town lands including, but not limited to, parks, playing fields and open space, except as necessary to provide for the health or safety of persons, wildlife or property by persons operating vehicles in an official capacity within the town and except in areas as may be designated for that use by a majority vote by the Board of Selectman:
(A) Dirt bikes and other two-wheeled motorized vehicles, except to the extent that they may be otherwise lawfully operated on public highways, driveways and parking lots;
(B) Three- and four-wheel all-terrain motor vehicles, except to the extent that they may be otherwise lawfully operated on public highways, driveways and parking lots; and
(C) Snowmobiles and other track-driven vehicles, except to the extent that they may be otherwise lawfully operated on public highways, driveways and parking lots.
