§ 50.09 SPECIAL REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES.
   (A)   Every licensee shall obtain from the Director a special registration for each vehicle and roll off container to be used for the collection, transportation and/or disposal of solid waste within the town. Vehicles and roll off containers will be subject to inspection for compliance with standards as the Director may establish from time to time, prior to issuance of a registration number, and from time to time thereafter. Registrations shall not be transferable from vehicle to vehicle or from roll off container to roll off container without the written authorization of the Director.
   (B)   All vehicles registered under this chapter shall meet the following standards and other additional or different standards as the Director may, from time to time, require:
      (1)   Vehicles shall be equipped with automatic unloading mechanisms; and
      (2)   Vehicles with a capacity in excess of ten cubic yards shall be of closed construction; vehicles of smaller capacity shall be covered whenever being used to transport solid waste within the town.
   (C)   The registration fee shall be $100 for each vehicle with a capacity of ten or more cubic yards, $50 for each vehicle of a capacity of less than ten cubic yards and $10 for each roll off container.
   (D)   Whenever a roll off container or vehicle registered hereunder is sold or transferred to another licensee during the registration year, the container or vehicle shall be reinspected before being used to transport solid waste, but no additional fee shall be required.
   (E)   The registration number issued shall be conspicuously displayed on the left front door of each vehicle and on the back side of each container so registered, or as may be directed by the Director.
   (F)   Each licensee shall prominently display at all times on the left front door of each registered vehicle, and on the back side of each registered container, in letters at least four-inches high, the trade or business name, address and telephone number of the licensee.
