(a) A separate service line must be installed from the main to each property.
(b) No service line shall be installed to any lot or parcel of land unless such lot or parcel of land has a frontage on a regularly platted street or public service strip in which a water main has been installed and unless the water service connection therewith is made between the property lines, extended to the main. Division of existing service lines for the creation of separate utility accounts (individual meters) shall include a curb stop, meter pit, setter and lid assembly for each meter installed and shall adhere to current City of Oxford Specifications.
(c) No division of the water service line of any lot or parcel of land shall be made for the extension and independent metering of the supply to an adjoining lot or parcel of land without special permission of the Service Director. No division of a water supply service line shall be made at the curb for separate supplies therefrom for two or more separate premises having frontage on any street or public service strip without special permission of the Service Director.
