§ 153.01 OBLIGATION OF PROPERTY OWNERS TO REPAIR AND MAINTAIN SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   The owner of any real property within the city which is adjoined by a public sidewalk shall be responsible for the maintenance of said sidewalk. This shall include the obligation to clear debris, snow and ice from the sidewalk within a reasonable time of its accumulation.
   (B)   Should any sidewalk, or section thereof, become damaged or deteriorated to the extent that it constitutes a danger to pedestrians, the owner shall repair or replace said sidewalk. Any such repair or replacement shall be made in accordance with specifications for the adjoining sidewalk. Further, the constructions plans, materials and specification must be approved by the legislative body, as provided in this chapter, prior to construction.
