§ 150.22 ASSIGNMENT OF NUMBERS; BLOCKS.

   (A)   Even numbers shall be assigned to the north side of streets and alleys running east and west, and to the west side of streets and alleys running north and south; and that odd numbers shall be assigned to the south sides of streets and alleys running east and west, and to the east side of streets and alleys running north and south.

   (B)   A series of 100 numbers shall be assigned to each block hereinafter designated, and that said blocks shall be constituted as follows:

On Bacon Alley	From Seminary Street north to Perry Street
On Cherry Alley	From Seminary Street north to Perry Street
On Madison Street	From Seminary Street north to Perry Street

   (C)   Numbers, according to the plan hereinbefore set out, shall be assigned to each house, residence and business place in the city by a surveyor to be appointed by the Mayor, who shall act under his or her supervision, and which surveyor shall report in writing to the City Council the numbers assigned by him or her to each house, residence and business place.
