§ 50.20 WATER TAPS AND CONNECTIONS.
   The costs and charges payable to the city to have the city make, or supervise the making of, a boring or tap into the city’s water mains and lines, and to set and install an appropriate water metering device or to supervise the setting and installation of an appropriate water metering device are so fixed, set and established as follows.
   (A)   The sum and amount of $650 to make a tap and install the appropriate water metering device for a bore diameter of five-eighths by three-fourths inches, plus costs and charges extraordinary as may be incurred by the city to so make and effect the requested tap and install the required water meter device for a residential user/customer only.
   (B)   To effect or supervise a tap having a bore diameter of greater than five-eighths by three-fourths inches, and install or supervise the installation of the appropriate water metering device for a bore diameter of greater than five-eighths by three-fourths inches, the charges due and payable by the nonresidential user/customer shall be those costs and amounts as determined or estimated by the city to effect or supervise the tap and to effect or supervise the due installation of the required water metering device/unit, all duly set forth within a written agreement containing therein a provision and covenant regarding extraordinary expenses and costs which may be incurred by the city to effect or supervise the tap or installation of the appropriate water metering device/unit, all payable by the city’s nonresidential user/customer before the water lines be charged or service provided, and with such costs and charges to the nonresidential user/customer being not less than the sum and amount of $650 plus all costs and expenses actual and extraordinary, all payable by the nonresidential user/customer.
