For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The City of Owenton, Kentucky, acting by and through its City Council or by and through such other body as shall be the governing body of the city under the laws of the state at any given time.
CUSTOMER. A property owner or his or her agent who has agreed to purchase water and/or sewer service from the city.
MANAGER. The manager, Superintendent or other person duly employed and authorized by the city to supervise the operation of the system.
SYSTEM. The waterworks system and sewer system of the city, as now or hereafter constituted.
