(A) All organizations which are exempt from state licensing requirements and are applying for a permit to conduct gambling in the city shall not be required to pay a permit fee to the city.
(B) Any organization applying for or renewing a premises permit shall not be required to pay an investigation fee to the city.
(C) The city may assess an annual local investigation fee on: (1) organizations applying for an initial premises permit; and (2) organizations conducting lawful gambling at a site within the city’s jurisdiction in the amount as provided in Minn. Stat. § 349.161, Subd. 8(2), as presently enacted or hereafter amended.
