For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PLUMBER. Any person engaged in, or holding himself or herself out as engaged in the work or business of making any connections whatsoever with the water pipes, water mains, branch sewers, storm sewers, drains or other service pipes of said city, or making any repairs, additions or alterations of any pipe, tap, stop cock, water closet or any other fixture connected with or designed to be connected with the water works or sewage system of the city.
