(A) There shall be two classes of building sewer and connection permits:
(1) For residential service; and
(2) For service to commercial establishments and establishments producing industrial wastes.
(B) In either case, application shall be made on a special form furnished by the city. The permit application shall be supplemented by any plans, specifications, or other information which the Superintendent may reasonably require. An inspection fee, at a rate set by the Council by resolution from time to time for sewer and connection permits, shall be paid to the city at the time the application is filed.
(C) The city shall furnish a permit card with permit number which shall be prominently displayed on the property where the sewer connection is being made; this card shall be displayed for the duration of the work.
(D) No industrial or commercial permit shall be issued without the prior approval of the City Council and approval when required from the managing body of the Metropolitan Council of Environmental Services.
