(A) Legal representation. The City Attorney shall represent the city with respect to any legal matters or litigation, including the prosecution of misdemeanors, petty misdemeanors, and gross misdemeanors committed within the city, in accordance with directions given the City Attorney by the Mayor, Council, or Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer.
(B) Council proceedings. The City Attorney shall attend all Council meetings and assist in the preparation of ordinances or resolutions when so directed by the Council.
(C) Other legal assistance. The City Attorney shall provide other legal assistance as is requested by the Mayor, Council, or Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer.
