1303.06 BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING THE AREAS OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD.
   For the purposes of these regulations, the following studies and/or maps are adopted:
   (a)   The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a scientific and engineering report entitled, “Flood Insurance Study Wayne County, Ohio and Incorporated Areas”, effective August 18, 2009. This study, with accompanying “Flood Insurance Rate Map Wayne County, Ohio and Incorporated Areas” dated August 18, 2009, and any revisions thereto are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be part of this Chapter.
   (b)   Other studies and/or maps, which may be relied upon for the establishment of the flood protection elevation, delineation of the 100-year floodplain, floodways or delineation of other areas of special flood hazard.   
   (c)   Any hydrologic and hydraulic engineering analysis authored by a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio which has been approved by the City of Orrville as required by Section 1303.26 Subdivision and Large Scale Developments.
   Any revisions to the aforesaid maps and/or studies are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of these regulations. Such maps and/or studies are on file at the Office of the Safety-Service Director, City Hall, 207 North Main Street, Orrville, Ohio.
