5-5-3: SMOKE DETECTORS IN RESIDENTIAL UNITS:
   See Village Code 5-1-11 (Building Code) requirements for required placement of single station smoke alarms in all R (Residential) and I-1 (Assisted Residential) occupancies. This includes all sleeping rooms and every room in the path of the means of egress from the unit.
