§ 97.04 OPEN BURNING.
   (A)   No person shall hereafter burn, set fire to, or cause to be burned any grass, leaves, twigs, or other combustible material whatsoever, within the corporate limits of the village.
   (B)   Carefully controlled fires of charcoal or similar material, within containers specifically designed for the cooking of food, are exempt from the prohibition of open outdoor burning within the village.
