(a) Except for unusual and unforeseen emergencies, parks shall be open to the public every day of the year. Hours of the opening and closing of the parks shall be designated only when posted. All other aspects of the parks, use shall also be promulgated from time to time by the Director of Parks and Recreation and upon approval of the Mayor and notice to City Council. Park hours, rules and regulations shall be published on the City of Oregon’s website.
(b) Any section of any park may be declared closed to the public by the Director of Parks and Recreation at any time and for any interval of time, either temporarily or at regular and started intervals, daily or otherwise, and either entirely or merely to certain uses, as the Director finds reasonably necessary.
