(A) Across lots. Easements across lots or centered on rear or side lot lines shall be provided for utilities where necessary and shall be at least ten feet wide.

(B) Block to block. Easements shall be designed to provide continuity from block to block.

(C) Drainage easements. Where a subdivision is traversed by a watercourse, drainageway channel or stream, and adequate by the Plan Commission. The location, width, alignment and improvement of such drainageway or easement shall be subject to the approval of the Village Engineer; and parallel streets or parkways may be required in connection therewith. Where necessary storm water drainage shall be maintained by landscaped open channels of adequate size and grade to hydraulically accommodate maximum potential volumes of flow. These design details are subject to review and approval by the Village Engineer.

(D) Conservation easements. Conservation easements may be required to protect natural areas of excessive slope or areas subject to flooding in order to prevent erosion or changes of stream quality or flood characteristics.
