§ 153.01 PLANTING GENERALLY.
   It shall be unlawful to plant any tree or bush in any public street or parkway or other public place without having first secured a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the Street Superintendent and shall be referred by him or her to the Village Board. All trees and shrubs so planted shall be placed subject to the directions and approval of the Village Board.

§ 153.02 PLANTING TREES IN RIGHT-OF-WAY.
   It shall be unlawful to plant any bushes, trees, shrubs or other plants on the right-of-way of any public street, including the space on the right-of-way between the sidewalk and the adjacent street pavement without written permission from the Village Board.
