135.03 COMPENSATION.

(a) The Engineer shall be compensated for attendance at the meetings referred to in Section 135.01 and for the duties enumerated in Section 135.02 as Council shall, from time to time, determine.

(b) For projects in which the engineering fee exceeds two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500), the engineering fee shall be a lump sum price. The Mayor and the Engineer shall negotiate the fee and the scope of services. Upon completion of negotiations, the final proposal shall be sent to Council for review and approval.
