§ 93.60  OPEN BURNING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No open burning of leaves, grass, wood, brush, waste oil, tires, paper, trash, furniture, garbage, or other types of refuse shall be permitted within the town on private or public property by any person, firm, corporation, or entity.
   (B)   The following types of fires are exceptions which may be permitted with prior written approval of the Town Council:
      (1)   School pep rallies;
      (2)   Scouting activities;
      (3)   Recreational and cooking fires for recreation such as campfires and barbeque grills;
      (4)   Air curtain destructor burning when a copy of the state’s Department of Environmental Management letter of approval has been filed with the Town Council; or
      (5)   Use and operation of a gas-fired incinerator commercially designed and manufactured for incineration of combustible refuse when any required letter of approval has been filed with the Town Council.
